Church of the Virgin of the Remedios (Iglesia Parroquial de nuestra Virgen de los Remedios)
This outstanding monument is the parish church of the Virgin of the Remedies, dated from the 18th century and which belonged, until the sale of the church lands in 1835, to the convent of Franciscan monks, which no longer exists. It consists of a temple with three vaulted naves and a dome over the transept, whereas the outside of the church is built in stone and quite well conserved, it follows the line of rococo architecture mixed with another styles from Latin America. The tower of this church is higher than any other point of the city, and is formed by four bodies, the last having an octagonal base and crowned by a pointed capital, with two coloured ceramics.

Clocktower (Torre del Reloj)
Other outstanding monuments are the Clocktower (Torre del Reloj), which belonged to an old parish and was built in the 15th century, 1474. In the 19th century it was restored in a classical style, without baroque details. The ruins of the century castle walls, an old fort from the reconquest era, the ruins of the Nicio Castle, situated in the high part of the El Padrón area, and many houses or stately palaces, such as the Mondejar Marqui, from the 18th century, and the Borrega House, from the same century.

Archeological monuments around Benavista
From former eras, there are the archaeological sites of the municipality of Estepona, Las Torres, Roman villa, and the Parque Antena, Roman settlement. There are the remains of the Castle of San Luis, constructed on the order of the catholic Kings, at the beginning of the 16th century, in order to reinforce the walls of the town and to facilitate his repopulation.

Bullfighting arena
Inaugurated in 1972, in an asymmetric design, made by the architect Juan Mora Urbano, the only square bullfighting arena in the world. The art of bullfighting has been established in Spain for many centuries. In prehistoric stone paintings, drawings of bulls can be seen.
